• Location: 142 Auburn Avenue NE

• 21,431 FT2 Adaptive Reuse Project

 

The Herndon Plaza project pays homage to one of our great heroes of Sweet Auburn, businessman and philanthropist - Alonzo F. Herndon. 

 

The purpose of this project is three-fold: 

• Continue our focus on HDDC mission of preservation of rich culture and history of Sweet Auburn Historic District.

• Honor a business leader of great significance to Sweet Auburn and the city of Atlanta.

• Re-purpose the historic Atlanta Life Insurance Building to act as a center for economic and cultural inspiration.

 

We are currently in the planning phase of the project and will provide additional details summer of 2021."
